Last Friday evening at the Maillot Jaune’s Victorian Cycling Hall of Fame Dinner, our own member and Club Coach Hilton Clarke was inducted as a member of the Hall of fame.

Hilton now joins a select group Victorian Champion Cyclists and CCCC members Lorraine Collings and Malcolm Sawford who were previously inducted as Associate Members for their great contributions to cycling through their volunteer work.
He was recognised for his impressive riding record which includes being an Olympian, Commonwealth Silver Medalist, Multiple Australian Track Endurance events Titles, Multiple State Sprint Titles, and two Melbourne to Warrnambool fastest Times. Acknowledgement was made on the night of Hilton’s ability to be a both a champion tack endurance, track sprint and highly talented road rider all at the same time. Special mention was also made of Hiltons success as a coach, coaching over 230 Australian, Masters World, Senior World and Junior World Champions.
