On Monday the 9th of November the Club held its Annual General Meeting on Zoom. It is with great pleasure that the Committee can announce the appointment of Linda Hunter as the new Club President. This is the first time in the Clubs 96 year history that we have a female president, so congratulations to Linda on breaking this ground. Linda has been a tireless worker for the Club over many years, particularly in her role as secretary and it is fabulous to see her stepping up and setting a great example.

Other roles filled at the meeting are detailed below and we are still looking for some extra volunteers to fill the gaps. If any of these roles appeal to you please contact Linda directly president@carnegiecycling.com.au. In particular, the committee is very keen to fill the roll of Women’s Development Manager, if you are passionate about the progression of women’s racing/riding and role within the club, please get in touch.
