Carnegie Caulfield Cycling Club supports a Women’s Academy to create development opportunities for, and participation of, women from second year U17 towards U19 level.

Purposes:

To build a supported environment to assist women emerging from junior racing and moving toward higher levels and higher age group participation in cycling. To fill the apparent gap for female athletes between junior and elite racing in cycling.

Participants:

Victorian riders will be invited to join the Academy during or after the second year of U17 racing and into U19. 99 Bikes Women’s Academy Members will be:

  • Women U17, U19
  • Actively racing at least at VRS or VJRS level racing

Members will be able to participate at two levels:

  1. Race Squad (minimum 4 riders)
  2. Rider Squad
