These young riders all deserve success and will get it in their chosen events. For some it may come soon for some a bit later on, but it will come.
These young people have endured all winter at the track working hard, gaining skills, getting quicker and stronger.
Sometimes riders think they can get results without doing hard work. Those who think like that kid themselves and their results match their workload.
To the parents who turn up each week with their youngsters, well done. You will see the results of your kids hard work but just let it come.
To Hilton, Mick, Allan timing and all involved CCCC has something really special going on. All involved plus committe support is to be commended.
I said a few weeks ago how riders are getting bigger, developing, getting stronger legs, its all the path to success.
Standing talking to Rick Sanders, Ricky was a little fella but now he's very big. Not wide big like Dad Davo but tall big strong body and legs and he can ride quick.
Watching Madison and Nathan doing sprint efforts together riding low 10's was great to see.
Keep it up all.
Cheers.

( 3.2 / 6 )Talking to Ben Sanders at DISC on Wednesday night he has switched to track endurance. Ben is a fine young sprinter having Medalled at the Junior Worlds in 2008. His riding last track season against senior elite sprinters was excellent. Ben will do very well at endurance racing and with his awsome sprint he will get plenty of good results.
Best wishes Ben.

( 3 / 5 )I'll tell you what, next time a bike rider comes near me with a cold, coughing etc I will tell him to p--ss off. Fair dinkum this bloody Bacterial Infection has been no good. I finished my second course of 875mg Antibiotics on Tuesday and started to go backwards a bit but now picking up.
One bloke told Bob Farley that I have retired but don't know where he got that crapp from. Point is with what I have had and still getting over, I would have been a fool to be bike riding. Have been gardening as that's how I derive a living these days but cannot work hard days and ride a bike as well whenn crook.
Don't get too keen Masters 8 riders I have not retired but it will take me a while to get fitness back again and hopefully I can kick some old farts backsides. Hang on, that means Iám one of them to!!!!!!
A bit to talk about.

( 3 / 5 )Col rang me asking if I had heard results. Look on Warnambool Standard and you will see a short article with Joel Pearson as the winner.
If you rode hope you were satisfied with your own result.
Good night and back on my bike in the morning after 2 weeks off. Hope I can get some riding in without any more sickness.
Cheers.
