If you go into European Track Championships 2009 you can pull up the results for day's one and two. Some times are remarkable for riders ofr these ages.

Sorry I am pretty busy with house matters at present so not blogging quite as much.

Cheers and ride safely as I hear on the radio of cyclists being hit by cars.

NOTHING BETTER

Whilst we will all get back to proper sleep patterns the three weeks has been really great. I recall in the first week reading somewhere that a bloke commented that the race would be boring. Hopefully he changed his view but if not then he is impossible to please.

Certainly the three on the podium are in the correct order and it is amazing how close the top ten riders are.

Anyway hope you have enjoyed the race as have I and looking forward to getting back to normal.

OUT EARLY

Met Col at K mart East Burwood at 6.30 and down to Frankston I turned at one mile bridge and he went through and around the loop. My ride back was moderate to quick (for me) and Tony McLean and others cuaght me near Mordialloc. To Stkilda for coffee and watched last night again on TV then back out home with Col and Klaus part of the way. In all about 95 k's and okay. Longest ride for about 4 weeks and fitness not too far down. Anyway back at it and will keep at it as best i can with a move on.

HIGH UP

Today I spent a pleasant afternoon on the top of the ridge on the Modella hilly circuit with Leon. We were located on the corner just as you drop back down to the finish area on the flat. The view from our point was quite outstanding over the plains of Gippsland and if you think it was hard climbing up there boys and girls well it is pretty high up.

Good racing and congrats to placegetters. That course is very much in contrast to the flat Modella we raced on a few weeks back.
