Very good close racing in younger mens age groups and the highlight being the rides of Shane Miller. Shane rode a pursuit at Coburg the previous week so his first effort on a track bike on a bumpy track. This week he got on DISC, once I think prior to the weekend. His smooth riding and the way he held his lines on the track yesterday were amazing. In actual fact talkng to Matilda Vaughan she said she has never a Masters rider take to pursuiting, ride so fast, smart and smooth. His rides were so natural and his qualifying ride was 3.34.34 for 3,000 metres, the fastest time on the day. Stuart did his usual workman like job and the current World Champion won his final not easily but did what he had to.
Sorry I have not got all times but will post what I know and don't get cross if your result is left off. Women all 2000 metres, men 5 up 2000 metres and men 4 down 3000.

Note: A number of riders rode their fastest time in qualifying and may not be the time listed above.
The scratch races were all high quality with the pace on all the way. The older mens race and in particular the combined womens race were a very high standard. Gone are the days in Masters were the womens race was a roll around with a sprint the end, as it was on full all the way.
Will post scratch races later on if CSV not have listed. I did them last night and this bloody machine dumped them all. So all my time down the drain. Will also put up some good rides Saturday.
