I first got into track after having watched the Australian Masters Track Titles at Vodafone in 2001. Although had not ridden track for nearly 30 years I came away thinging "I can ride as well as those old blokes".
Got back on in 2002 and been at it nearly non stop since but now an enforced break.
Any Masters age Ladies or Men who may have a slight interest in riding track should go along to look at their favored events.
It's good to see Shane Miller a top road TT Masters having a go at track pursuiting. There are other very good road TT riders female and male who would do well pursuiting. Equally good crit riders would ride good scratch races once you learn the ropes. To any other recents converts to track enjoy it and hope you do well. Good to see Laurie Gates and Ian McGeoch
Perhaps you might get a chance to have a look either Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon, sprinting or scratch races. If you can get a pass from the boss.
Anyway good racing to all who have entered and hope you ride well. Remember PB's are a win for you.
