Congratulations to Michael Gallagher for defending his 4000m individual pursuit title at the London Paralympics overnight.
Michael blitzed the field to smash the world record by 5 seconds in qualifying, recording a sensational time of 4:30.012, and went onto a comfortable win in the final against British rider Jon-Allan Butterworth.
Michael will also compete in the road cycling events later in the paralympics, as will paralympic debutant Carol Cooke.
