The U19 men in the VIS are showing the older riders how it’s done. Yesterday Jack Cummings was 1st & fastest in the 63rd running of the Cecil Shore Memorial 120K handicap at Hamilton. The Hamilton handicap is one of the remaining traditional races of the League of Victorian Wheelmen, The professional body. It is full credit to Dave Sanders young VIS men are winning so many opens against very strong fields. If it’s not Jack it’s Alex Morgan or one of the other VIS young stars. Dave Sanders has played a major role in the development of nearly all Victoria’s world class men’s roadies both Elite & U 23 and his current batch of U19′s show the same class as those in the older age groups.
Co gratulations Jack on your fine win and I am sure every man and his dog will point me to the full results from yesterday’s Hamilton 120.
Cheers all.
